How can I delete a customer? (Shopify Classic Admin)

In order to delete a customer, you must first delete all of their existing orders. When the customers existing orders have been deleted, a trash can icon will appear allowing you to delete the customer.

In order to delete a customer, you must first delete all of their existing orders. When the customer's existing orders have been deleted, a trash can icon will appear allowing you to delete the customer.

How do I delete a customer's order(s)?
To delete a customer's order(s), log in to your shop admin and go to the Orders tab. Click on the order you would like deleted.  This will open up the Order's detail page.  Scroll down to the very bottom of the Order's detail page. Click on the large Delete button.
Repeat these steps for any other order(s).

How do I delete a customer?
Once all of a customer's orders are deleted, you can delete the customer. To do this, log in to your shop admin and go to the Customers tab. Click on the customer's name that you would like to delete. The customer's detail page will appear. As long as all of a customer's orders have been deleted, a trash can icon should appear in the top right corner. Click on the trash can to delete the customer.
