Most Shopify themes come with the ability to create a dropdown menu in the main navigation of your store. This quick walkthrough will show you how to easily take advantage of this feature or If you prefer following on screen please watch our video on this subject:

Note: if you are not using the New Standard theme, and your links are using the arabic, hebrew or cyrillic alphabet, or are in Chinese or Japanese, then you will need to tweak your theme to get drop-down menus to work in your store. If you are a designer, have a look at this wiki article to learn everything there is to know about the tweak.
Find the main-menu linklist parent link that you want your dropdown menu to originate from and note its name. We will be making a new linklist with the title and handle of this parent link's name.
Click on 'add linklist' at the top of the navigation page to create a new linklist. Make sure that the name and handle matches what you have chosen for the parent link.
Now that we have our linklist created all that is left to do is add some links.
For demo purposes and to check that everything is right create a single test link to make sure everything is working properly.
One added simply go to the front end of your site to the public view and see your brand new dropdown menu and its one test link.
Success!
