Why should customers create accounts on my shop?

How does having Customer Accounts help me with my sales?

Customer Accounts make it easier for your repeat customers to order faster. View "Customer Accounts" as an aspect of customer service your store offers.

Customer accounts is more beneficial for shops that have regular repeat customers.

Pushing customers to sign up for an account can be a deterrent if they don't buy repeatedly.

Put yourself in your customer's shoes. As a customer, you're eagerly shopping and you just want to buy. Suddenly, your seamless buying experience is roadblocked with a "Sign up for a customer account" message. What would you do?

You ignore it. You ignore it because why would you want to remember yet another password. You just want to buy something.

Will you buy from this shop again? Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on if you like your purchase, correct? It has nothing to do with whether you were prompted to sign up for an account.
