Where do I find my API key? My developer needs it (Shopify Classic Admin)
API keys are needed for many custom applications, your developer may request API access to your store for this purpose. You can create API keys in your store admin by visiting Apps --> Manage Apps and then scrolling to the bottom of the page and click "Are you a developer interested in creating a private application for your shop? Click here"

On the next page, you can generate a new application, which will give you API information and keys which you can copy and paste to your developer. Do not post your API keys publicly! Keep them in safe hands.

API keys are needed for many custom applications, so your developer may request API access to your store for this purpose.
You can create API keys by logging in to your store admin and going to the Apps tab.
Scroll down to the area entitled "Are you a developer interested in creating a private app for your shop?" and click the "View private apps" link.
On the next page, you can generate a new application, which will give you API information and keys which you can copy and paste and give to your developer.
To generate a new application, click the Generate new app button.
Remember: do not post your API keys publicly! Keep them in safe hands.
