How do I set up custom fulfillment? (Shopify Classic Admin)
Custom Fulfillment allows you to automatically send notification to an e-mail address of your choice so that the product can be shipped.
To set up Custom Fulfillment, go to your Preferences → Fulfillment Services.
Scroll down to Custom Fullfillment, and select Activate:
Type in the name and e-mail address for your fulfillment providers, and then click Save:
In order for your products to be fulfilled by your custom fulfillment provider, the Fulfilled By policy must be set.
Locate the desired product and click Edit by the product variant. Each variant, if there are multiples, will need to be set individually:
Click on the Fulfilled By drop down menu and select the desired Fulfillment provider. Then click Update:

Once you've set up Custom Fulfillment, every time payment for an order is received, a notification email will automatically be sent to your fulfilment provider(s) – so that the product can be shipped.
To set up Custom Fulfillment, log in to your shop and go to the Settings > Shipping tab.
Scroll down to the section entitled "Fulfillment/Dropshipping." Locate the field called, Custom Fullfillment, and select Activate:
Type in the name and e-mail address for your fulfillment providers, and then click Activate:
In order for your products to be fulfilled by your custom fulfillment provider, the Fulfilled By policy must be set.
In your shop admin, go to your Products tab. Locate the desired product and click on it.
Scroll down to the area entitled "Inventory & variants".
Click the "edit" link by the product variant. Scroll down to the area entitled Fulfillments. In the drop down menu, choose the custom fulfillment provider.
Then click Save changes.
Note: if there are multiple variants, each one will need to be set individually.
